Humanitarian-based Immigration Law

CWJC provides free consultations on immigration law questions to low-income residents of Central and Western Massachusetts.

We provide free representation before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Immigration Court to individuals applying for humanitarian immigration relief, including:

  • Violence Against Women Act petitions for survivors of domestic violence
  • U visas for crime victims
  • T visas for trafficking victims
  • Special Immigrant Juvenile Status for abused, neglected, and abandoned children
  • Asylum for individuals seeking protection from persecution in their home countries
  • Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
