Giving

Last year, Central West Justice Center handled 2,028 cases, changing the lives of an estimated 5,070 vulnerable residents of Central and Western Massachusetts. We depend on the support of individuals, corporations, and foundations to do this work.

Join the fight for justice with a gift to Central West Justice Center! Your support not only changes the lives of those in need; it is also a wise investment.

Even modest gifts change lives. Just $55 can provide one hour of our legal help:

  • If just twenty people were to give $55, our attorneys could assist an immigrant child apply for lawful status.
  • A single gift of $110 would provide enough support to allow our attorneys to prepare a renewal DACA application for a local “Dreamer” – a young person who was brought to the United States as a child.
  • $550 would allow our attorneys to assist a domestic violence survivor apply for lawful permanent residency.
  • $770 could prevent a family from becoming homeless due to an eviction.

The need for legal services far outstrips our ability to provide them. CWJC is forced to turn away over half of the eligible people seeking our services because we don’t have enough resources. Each of these people is facing a legal crisis when they call for help.

On behalf of the Central West Justice Center family, THANK YOU for joining the fight to provide fairness and justice to all the residents of Central and Western Massachusetts.

Central West Justice Center receives no funding from  the Legal Services Corporation.
