Claudia joined Central West Justice Center in 2017, after graduating law school. She is the staff attorney for migrant and seasonal farmworkers for the state of Massachusetts. While in law school, Claudia was a law clerk for the City of Springfield Labor Relations Department. Prior to that, she was a law clerk at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Office of Legal Counsel in Washington, D.C. She also interned with Community Legal Aid in their Housing Unit, and with Public Counsel in their Immigrants Rights Project in Los Angeles. In 2017 she was the student recipient of the Supreme Judicial Court Adams Pro Bono Publico award for her work on behalf of immigrants.
She is an active member of the Massachusetts chapter of the National Lawyers Guild, the Western New England University Law Review, the Connecticut Hispanic Bar Association, and the Massachusetts Bar Association. She is licensed to practice in Massachusetts. Claudia is also a native Spanish speaker.
