Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, Diona started at CWJC in January 2017 and works as a staff attorney in the immigration unit. Prior to that, she was a Public Interest Fellow at the Boston University School of Law Immigrants' Rights Clinic (2015-2016), where, while still in law school, she also served as a research assistant (2014-2015) and as a student attorney (2013-2014). Before that, she was the note editor at the Boston University Public Interest Law Journal and volunteered at Gay and Lesbian Advocates and Defenders. Diona is a certified rape crisis counselor and was a legal advocacy intern at the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center.
